Painting and customising cylinder body
We carry out the painting of the cylinder body using the corresponding colour according to its application or at the customer’s request.
We are able to provide maximum customisation.
We produce colours, designs, company logos and all requested details in order to provide a unique and fully customised cylinder.
Painting and stamping cylinder shoulder
We paint and stamp cylinder shoulder applying and following the UNI EN 1089-3 standard that regulates the colouring of the cylinder shoulder for immediate identification of the type of gas in transportable cylinders.
On the cylinder shoulder it is possible to add, in addition to those required by law, the stamping of the company name and/or serial number: this operation is carried out with the utmost accuracy and professionalism by means of stamping.
In this way, the information remains absolutely indelibly marked, without the risk of being lost!
Cleaning the outside and inside wall of the cylinder
Part of the quality of a paint process is strictly dependent on how well its surface is prepared.
Ikaros uses automatic methods and machines for the external cleaning of cylinders (external sandblasting): by removing paint, rust or adhesives, we are able to guarantee maximum aesthetics and durability of the subsequent painting treatment.
In addition, we carry out internal sandblasting to ensure maximum cleanliness of the inside wall of cylinders intended for food&beverage, medical or breathing air use.
